This is a new class we are now offering for Moms and tots. Moms get to enjoy Pure's already existing hot yoga class while the little ones get to have their first time yoga class as well in the studio next door. Yoga adapted for chldren develops body awareness, good listening skills, coordination, cooperation and powers of observation. They learn by playing, moving and imitating. Throughout this course the children will take on the qualities of different animals, pretend they are trekking up mountains, become warriors and princesses and learn about loving yourself and each other.
The class for the children is limited. We will only be taking 10 children. It is a registered class for 10 weeks. We will be running the class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:00-1:05pm. You will choose either the Tuesday or Thursday or both. It is for children aged 3-5 years old.

This is an excellent class to begin your yoga practice. Many of us still need to learn the basics and the foundation of the postures. This class will take you through the Baptiste Flow Series, but at a slower pace, to emphasize proper alignment. It will have some added modifications to allow any experience level to try “new” things. During this class, the temperature will be turned down slightly, allowing those individuals who are "new" to hot yoga to feel a little more comfortable. Schedule
Have some “fun” with your practice, while you “flow” to some groovy tunes in our studio! This class kicks it up a notch and allows some of us to “let loose” at the end of a busy week!! Schedule

Yang/Yin yoga is an excellent practice which targets tendons, ligaments and fascia within the body. It is a perfect practice for those of you that want something a little more relaxing at night, and also those that are just being introduced into Hot Yoga. The first half of the class begins with a gentle flow combined with strengthening postures to warm up the muscles. The second half of the class will be on the floor, moving through postures that target tight areas such as the hamstrings and quadriceps, knees, ankles, hips and low back. These postures are held for three to five minuets to encourage the slow and safe opening of connective tissues, leaving students with an overall feeling of lightness, spaciousness and peace. This class is a perfect antidote to stress and can be complementarity to other more active styles of yoga.
