Angie Lo

legend - strong - SWEET

Angie has been fascinated by movement and the human body from a young age. Starting dance at just five years old, she trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop, Latin, and musical theatre. Her passion carried her to the National Ballet School of Toronto and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, before she pursued kinesiology and dance studies at the University of Calgary. She went on to perform professionally with Princess Cruises, traveling the world and later joining dance companies across North America as both a performer and choreographer.

It was during her time abroad that Angie discovered yoga, first through a simple home practice. What began as a way to slow down soon became a lifelong passion and a path toward deeper body–mind awareness. Since completing her initial teacher training in 2004, she has continued to learn from renowned teachers including Pattabhi Jois, Bryan Kest, Seane Corn, David Life, and Ana Forrest. Angie has also expanded her training to include prenatal, mom-and-baby, yin, and hot yoga, as well as Reiki healing.

Now based in Calgary, Angie teaches yoga and dance full time, blending her love of movement with her dedication to health and wellbeing. She feels grateful to share the gifts of practice, guiding students to find strength, awareness, and compassion on and off the mat.
